We’re proud to announce we are the new sponsors of South Gloucestershire local youth football team, Winterbourne United’s under 9’s.

The squad, who are 19 strong, are part of the Hanham Minor League and the sponsorship will help them to purchase much needed training equipment and pay for expenses, and we’ve already been able to contribute towards a new kit for the team.

As a business we believe it’s important to invest in the local community and make a positive impact to those around us. Since relocating to the village of Iron Acton two years ago, we have sponsored local school events such as St Michael’s School Christmas raffle, and this latest addition to our charitable portfolio has been well received.

We believe it is essential for local businesses to support local sports teams, because they often cannot function without financial help. That’s why we’re so pleased to assist Winterbourne United under 9’s in this way.

Andy Thatcher, the team’s coach, commented: “It’s so helpful when sponsors and parents pull together to create a co-ordinated community-based team. We needed kits badly so ACC have come along at a fantastic time, and we appreciate the support they provide alongside the parents, which leaves the coaches to coach.”

Carl Pickett, Managing Director of ACC added: “We’re really proud to be part of the South Gloucestershire community and saw sponsorship of Winterbourne U9’s as a great opportunity to give something back to the local community. We hope the players are enjoying their new kits and we wish them every success in this football season.”
