The summer was tumultuous for transport on both sides of the English Channel. Tensions have risen and events such as the ferry workers’ strike in July, and the migrant crisis have made travelling to and from the British Isles to France and beyond a difficult task.
These unforeseen external situations are beyond anyone’s control – but at ACC we know we must be prepared for the worst. Despite these unfortunate circumstances, we were able to upkeep a smooth running service, with over 90 per cent of our deliveries on time, even with delays at both Dover and Calais.
We wish the best for those involved in the trying situations at Calais, and will continue to ensure our service is the best it can be.
