Meet the Team At ACC
Our expert team are a phone call away – and they certainly know their stuff.
Carl is ACC’s Managing Director and co-founder. Joining the industry in 1995, he worked part-time in International Removals while studying for a degree in Business and Leisure Management. His main responsibilities include looking after key accounts and overseeing the running of the operations department. There isn’t much Carl doesn’t know about road haulage!
As Operations Manager Liam supports Carl in running the operations department. Liam joined ACC in 2013 and has a background in the freight business. At ACC he looks after key accounts and he is also responsible for making sure we’re continually providing excellent customer service. Liam was awarded Young Freight Forwarder of the Year by BIFA for 2015.
Norb is also Operations Manager and works alongside Carl and Liam to lead the operations team. Norb also plans the transport for our European road services, and he has fantastic sector knowledge. He has developed long established relationships with our European haulage partners to bring our customers expert service.
Piotr’s role sees him plan the transport for our European road services. Piotr previously worked in Poland for a transport company where he was in charge of training freight employees. He can speak no less than five different languages!
Chris is a veteran here at ACC, as he has been with us since ACC was founded in 1996. Chris now manages all the sea freight and air freight consignments. His significant experience within the freight industry makes him invaluable to our customers for his advice and expertise.
Martin HaymanMartin has clocked up over 17 years in the army after which he moved into freight, specialising in air imports before joining ACC. Martin monitors all consignments to ensure they are collected and delivered on time. He is also responsible for keeping you updated on the progress of your consignment.
Josh comes to ACC from a freight recruitment background. Josh is keen to develop his career within the freight industry, his main responsibilities at ACC will be to manage road, sea and air freight bookings.
Business Development Team
Paul has worked within the freight industry for over 30 years, and he now heads up ACC’s business development activities. Paul is responsible for ensuring that we meet all of our existing customers’ needs, identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with new customers.
Alison comes with 15 years’ experience in the financial services industry including sales and marketing. She is now responsible for co-ordinating ACC’s marketing activities and brand development and is continually looking for opportunities to further the growth of the business.
Nikki DaviesNikki has over 20 years’ experience in sales and business development. Nikki’s role is to build relationships with new customers and to develop relationships with our existing customers.
Tina comes from a 20 year long sales background in office equipment/telecoms. Tina’s role will see her build relationships with new customers and develop relationships with our existing customers.
Louise has a wealth of experience in the property industry, account management and business to business sales. Louise’s role is to build relationships with new customers and to develop relationships with our existing customers.
Jane has a background working for a number of blue chip companies. She now heads up our accounts team and manages all of the day-to-day organisational duties.
Gary manages all of our group invoicing and proof of delivery documentation. He is also our in-house IT expert and company first aider.
Sue has a long standing career in accounts. It’s her responsibility to liaise with our suppliers and she also manages all payments and purchase invoice queries.
Jodie’s main responsibilities within the accounts department include raising invoices, accounts administration and dealing with queries.
